In this series we are going to be looking at the letters of Paul to Philemon and Timothy. From his care for a runaway slave (Philemon) to his mentoring of a young church leader (Timothy), these letters show Paul`s care for the individuals that he worked with and loved.
These are very practical letters- focused on the conduct of individuals and of church as a whole. Although we live in very different times to Paul- the basic issues of church life have not changed much- so we can productively reflect on how Paul might be writing to us on similar lines to Timothy.
