With Elijah lie the possibilities and inspiration for the church to recover its voice in a way that is free to show that life "could be otherwise, " and to make it so. Elijah, like other prophets summons to a new way beyond the well trodden boundaries and ways of the world.
We listen for the Voice of Elijah in our day and time amidst the abuses of power and authority.
